In 2016, Sarah Cardwell left her successful 13-year career as a partner at a large Dallas law firm to found Cardwell Law, PLLC.
Sarah focuses her practice on construction law and complex civil litigation, where she serves as counsel for such companies as Lennar Corporation,one of the largest residential homebuilders in the United States.
Her representation involves the defense of suits involving alleged construction defects, violations of the Deceptive Trade Practices Act (DTPA), breach of contracts, misrepresentation, fraud, personal injury, employment issues, and eminent domain. She represents Lennar Corporation and specialty contractors, general contractors, and other companies of all sizes in transactional matters including contract drafting and negotiation, land use, tax, Home Owner Association matters, leasing, and general advice and counsel. Sarah has experience in the areas of internal investigations for corporations and governmental entities, and in federally appointed receiverships.
